What is CPC?

CPC stands for Cost Per Click. It's the amount you pay when someone clicks your advertisement. Google uses a second-price auction, meaning you usually pay just enough to beat the advertiser below you rather than your maximum bid. Reducing CPC isn't always beneficial. Paying $12 per click that generates profitable customers is better than paying $2 for unqualified traffic.
