Are LinkedIn Ads worth it?
For many B2B companies, yes.
LinkedIn generally produces higher advertising costs than Meta or Google Display, but it also gives advertisers access to one of the most accurate professional databases in the world.
The platform becomes particularly valuable when:
• Your average customer is worth thousands of dollars.
• Your sales cycle involves multiple stakeholders.
• You need to target specific industries or companies.
• You're selling software, consulting, recruiting, financial services, cybersecurity, healthcare, manufacturing, or enterprise solutions.
If your customer lifetime value is only $50, LinkedIn Ads probably won't make financial sense. If one customer is worth $10,000+, paying $150-$300 for a qualified lead can be extremely profitable.
Always evaluate LinkedIn based on Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) or Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), not simply CPC.
